Hi all This is just a quick hello as we are on limited time in an internet cafe! Well we are finally here in Luanshya and what a journey we have had - I didn't think we were going to make it. But then this is Africa. Rich it is just like Kenya especailly the roads, what a nightmare, and the driving... We arrived in Luanshya in the DARK (strongly not recommended) but we did and we are glad to be here. It is lovely, the lodge is great and we are just wandering around the town finding our feet and then we will go look for the house and school. I will write again when we can. Love to you all Jackie and Paul Mum and Dad XX PS Thank you all for your lovely cards. Ginn - so apt! Rich - thank you a 'copper card'. Spannie one of your 'cards' - thank you. Love you. |

Flying to South Africa
Got to Birmingham, they said all flights were on. Got to Paris and we had a plane but no pilot. 5 hours later we finally got on a plane. Very long journey. Got to SA at 03.00am local time. Did get some help from Air France to get us a taxi to the hotel. Finally got to bed at 5.00am, very very tired. Had a sleep, very odd, got up late morning and went by taxi to Eastgate shopping mall, a bit like Sandton.
Now waiting for Jennifer to arrive. She left Durban at 2.00pm and the journey takes about 5-6 hours. When she gets here we will have something to eat and then to bed as we want to be up early in the morning for our drive to Botswana.

Latest Flight news
Air France have not yet cancelled our flight so fingers crossed.
What makes it worse is that they are (Air France Pilots) onstrike because there pension age is being changed from 60 to 65 which is what they have just done in BT.
